Accountant.

Role Overview.

As an Accountant you play a vital role in maintaining the company's financial integrity by managing accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and preparing timely financial reports. This role requires strong attention to detail and solid expertise in accounting principles.

Duties & Responsibilities.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights for strategic decisions.

General Accounting & Compliance

• Manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger functions.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, BIR regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate and prepare documents for internal and external audits.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budget, investigating variances as needed.

Payroll & Disbursements

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries and benefits. Review and validate expense reports, supplier invoices, and bank reconciliations.

Job Requirements.

• A graduate of BS in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent from a reputable institution.
• Licensed CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred but not required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in general accounting, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, PEZA/BIR compliance, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a high level of integrity.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
