Role Overview.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at FiLDEV, you play a critical role in safeguarding the excellence of our software solutions. You’ll be responsible for identifying issues, enforcing testing protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure every release meets the highest standards of performance, security, and user experience. This role demands precision, problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering flawless technology.

Duties & Responsibilities.

• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, scripts, and cases.
• Perform thorough regression, functional, and usability testing.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and provide timely feedback.
• Validate fixes and perform re-testing to ensure issues are resolved.
• Monitor and maintain testing environments and tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Job Requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
